<7인의 사무라이>, <라쇼몽>, <카게무샤>와 같은 작품으로 일본 영화의 최고의 명장으로 일컬어지는 구로사와 아키라의 감독이 일본의 전설과 셰익스피어의 희곡 "리어왕" 이야기를 결합하고 각색해 영화로 제작한 1985년작 <Ran, 란>의 오리지널 사운드트랙 앨범. 음악은 고바야시 마사키 감독의 영화 <할복, 1962>와 <사무라이 반란, 1967> 등 다수의 걸작 영화에서 음악을 맡났던 타케미츠 토루가 담당했다. (수입/디지털)
